Hillside Cabernet Sauvignon

This bottle is definitely a treat for me! Our favorite steak house serves this and it’s a hit with my juicy medium steak! I love how strong it is but also smooth to sip.

Dark notes, hint of sweet but nothing overbearing

Beautifully dark wine, mild tannins, do wish there was more to it on the nose. Full bodied with light sediment as well. Seems like the acidity would be high at first but mellows to a nice finish. I might buy another one and let it sit for a few years then decant it.

Dry, but not much depth

Delicious big fruity and buttery round cab. Definitely a favorite that has more well balanced fruit than minerals. Not dry at all but the fruit forwardness is enjoyable and not overwhelming.

Somewhat harsh but full of fruit

"a fierce, brave, velvety wine with intense black fruit and hints of vanilla and a niece leading to a long bold finish". Excellent CA Can, recommended to me by the HEB in-store wine consultant. Superb wine

Decent. Would buy again at the price. TJ’s.
