Deep and dark ruby red. Dark spices on the nose with some cocoa, dark fruits and earthiness. Undertones of dark floral notes, and a touch of leather. Medium tannins (6.5/10) and acidity. Dark red berries on the palate with some dustiness, dark cocoa, and black cherries. Medium bodied with a long finish. Drink till 2020.

Well structured and ready to drink. However if you waited for 3-5 more it wouldn't hurt the wine. Loads of dark fruit, mocha and ample oak. The tannins are pronounced. This is a full bodied wine and is wonderfully balanced.

May 13th, 2023Very well balanced single varietal. Smooth balance between fruit, tannins, acid. Surprisingly, lots of raspberries and fewer cherries. Warm oak, dusty, warm gravel. I liked this wine- smooth and not overpowering like many non-blended cabs.
