Birth year Eisele. Never had the 79er. Not a great vintage but I've had some killer wines from the year. This was very purple, blousy and not quite as tense as other vintages of Eisele Cabs I've had. Great bramble and earth tones - still very much life ahead - but not sure this is the best example. Could be bottle or vintage.

Was showing awesome! Very balanced, dried red fruit, subtle tannins, and a very long finish.
