On the palate the wine showed sweet, ripe red fruit, cherry, currant, vegetal notes, cucumber, tobacco, spices, caramel as well as mineral and balsamic notes, paired with medium-plus lively acidity, fully integrated tannin, a smooth mouthfeel and incredible length. The fruit became less pronounced as time passed, to the benefit of the tertiary notes. A medium-bodied, medium-complex, well-balanced red Burgundy that drank young for its age and seemed to be good for another 10+ years. I liked it a lot. 93
