A total class act. Raspberries, herbs, leather, white pepper, touch o’funk, menthol, and black dirt. Cab, Cab Franc, Petit V, and Merlot (in that order). Awesome acidity. All the best of the Old and New Worlds. I don’t recall ever being disappointed with a Jonata wine.

Mar 8th, 2018Super balanced Boudreaux blend from Jonata. 43% Cab/32% CF/14% PV/11% Merlot. Blueberry compote served on a cigar box plate. You can really taste the Petit Verdot and Cab Franc in a great way. Not a thing out of line. Nice alternative to the big fruit/big oak bombers out there. Oh, and the label scratches? That's what you get for trying to save a buck on a wine cooler.
