As I drink deeply of this much anticipated noir, I am welcomed by the rough oaky feel in my mouth. As this nectar of Dionysus flows over my tongue I am greeted by the tartness of cranberries. Is there no end to his gifts of harvest?

Opaque cherry-plum color in the glass. Initially a touch of alcohol heat on the nose, seems to be dropping off as the wine opens up. Now more strawberry jam and cherries on the nose. Just a little tangy bitter at first. As the wine opens up I get ripe red fruit flavors. Winemaker Notes: Aromas of sweet cherries and baking spiced, with a hint of smoke. Ripe red fruit flavors are followed by elegantly balanced acidity and soft, velvety tannins. Juicy smooth, dry yet fruity. Okay wine for the price, be patient and let it sit for a good 30-45 minutes! 88

My taste is fruit forward..plum, raspberry and a tad bit of strawberry. With a vanilla and oaky finish. Very drinkable on a blistery cold pizza night after the bomb cyclone storm that started off 2018.

Fruity (raisins) yet dry and earthy with a soft mouthfeel; medium bodied. Best after breathing for 45-60 mins.

Smooth and subtle. Very nice wine for a weeknight at its price point.

Terrific velvety red. Not too overpowering; nicely balanced.
