Softer tannins with dark chocolate and cassis overtones. Smooth finish, perhaps we should have had it a year or two earlier. Pleasant with steaks!

You can tell the full bodied structure and acidity is there but the fruit packed up and left after my colleague had a brain fart and decided to decant it...too long, too late. SDP!

Big wine. Rich, chocolate, Christmas cake all that stuff. The nose is very seductive and attractive but the palate doesn't live up. Has been left in a decanter and dried out it seems to have lost a bit of fruit. Lovely tannin and acid structure though. Getting thoughts of what could have been. 89 points but could have been so much higher.
