Rock It Like a Redhead Marsanne Chardonnay

I picked up this Jen Pfeiffer Marsanne and Chardonnay blend in my latest Naked Wines ($13.50) order and it sure did go down a treat.
Yellow with a slight peach tinge on the eye. The nose is full of floral notes mixed with guava and smoky citrus. Lovely fruit flavours on the palate with a nice refreshing oomph and a definite crisp grapefruit bite. I'd love to team this up with some food next time as I think it'll make a great food wine.

Oct 9th, 2015This app requires 'wine suggestion' function as it's not possible to read the label. There are Shiraz, Pinot Gris and Marsanne-Chardonnay with the same label. I had Marsanne-Chardonnay 2014.
Medium straw yellow colour. Peaches, apricots, citrus, cashew nuts, butter and oak on the nose with a touch of herbaceousness from the Marsanne. The palate is fresh and fruit driven, with a creamy texture and a crisp, refreshing finish. Lovely.
