The wine is fully evolved and I'm fully involved. Served with lamb shanks and an Acme levain, this Morgon's delectable midrangey citrus notes accentuate the earthiness of the lamb. If a wine could be said to have umami as a flavor descriptor, this would be it.

Ripe pure gamay accented by earth and leather, it's gorgeous and in a really good place right now. It's worth noting that I found pretty much no brett, which apparently can be an issue with this wine.
