I am typically not the biggest fan of Sancerres. They usually have a grassy not to them that just doesn't strike me. This example did not have that tasting note at all thankfully. Straw yellow in color with a hint of green. Lots of fruit and flowers on the nose. Rich palate for this grape. Lovely minerality that gives it a wonderful finish.
