Gorgeous example from what may be my favorite vineyard, echezeaux. Crushed berries, dried cherry, cinnamon bark, earthy dried leaves. The aroma reminds me of autumn in some way. Palate was fleshy with elegant fine satin tannins. Surely i couldve waited several years for this one, but the situation called for something special and it definitely delivered!
