Opened at 11AM, but not decanted. More generous, more texture, than 1996, if memory serves, although I am sure the breathe of fresh air was beneficial.

Should have decanted the bottles an hour before enjoying them, when it opened it was tasty

Fully mature! Dried cherry , Asian spice, a little rust and iron along with mineral and orange peel. I would start to open if you have some in the cellar as I can't imagine getting any better.
