Praruar Terre Siciliane Catarratto

Beautiful and unique wine that’s been a real change compared to my recent tries. The unfiltered amber hue is striking in the glass, folding into pinks and reds. Candied ginger and nectarine peel mash together in a winter cocktail like profile, but are held together nicely with brown sugar, some malic flavors, and a soft floral touch. Cacao and tropical notes reach out in nice undertones. Structure is great for 6 years old. Evolved slowly with each sip.

Excellent with Asian flavors.

Goldfish-colored. Dried apricot, toasted hazelnut skin, castelvetrano olive brine, clay, white flowers. A little hint of earthy funk. Just the right amount of tannin.

First time with this but I think this was off. Very dark amber and a kind of burnt taste.

Orange wine with lots of acidity. Interesting.

Very dark orange.lmoat port vibe. Pretty clean. Pricey.

2016. A nice funky nose with an amber hue. Controlled astringency, overall delicate profile. Florals but can’t pinpoint. Funk but can’t pinpoint. Salinity but can’t pinpoint. Might be on the decline but it is still a great bottle.
