Smoky, animal hide and wild berry fruit that edges toward confected strawberry (somehow warm & furry in character?). Palate has some sharp contours, balanced rather light weight fruit on the front & middle palate, bright, red berry but then some bitter, light tannin starts to grippe the tongue on the finish offering tart cherry & cranberry fruit on the long finish.

A very special rosé, but not surprising since it comes from the Jura. It is smokey and woody and tastes slightly of mushrooms, clearly a cousin of vin jaune.
