Admittedly, I am not a Grüner expert but this wine has me scratching my head. My nose finds a petrolly Mosel Riesling character with hints of flowers and pineapple. Plenty of acid and nicely balanced with fruit. Blind, I'm guessing Riesling except Riesling is slightly oilier, a touch more viscous. This is a well made wine but I would never have thought it to be Grüner. I'm having to rethink everything I know about Grüner.

Pepper, white pepper. Asparagus. Excellent acidity. Seems salty. Inexpensive while expressing true to form quality.
