Tried this with no expectations and it knocked my socks off. Dark fruits on the nose followed by a burst of coffee, chocolate, berries, and spice on the palate. Texture was velvety but not overly tannic or acidic. Definitely a favorite!

Full-bodied. Excellent flavor. Had it out at dinner. Would like to have seen what it was like after it really opened up. Went down smooth. Excellent with pasta and chocolate.
