Last night wine- I opened this with the wagyu short ribs as a contrasting style to the Barbaresco. This was classic Hall style — fresh fruit, rounded mouthfeel, and nicely balanced. Although this was a really nice wine, it’s not the best pairing with Wagyu IMO. Still a really nice wine with or without food.

Sep 5th, 2022Really great one to enjoy with or without food. I enjoyed this one paired with a delicious tomahawk ribeye. Full bodied and well balanced. Plush mouthfeel. Dark fruit, but not too much fruit. This is a really easy one to enjoy. Will revisit in a year or so.

Feb 13th, 2022This was the wine of the night at last night’s holiday party. I wasn’t sure if I was going to open because of age, but I think this Hall is made for drinking young. Really well balanced, silky smooth, perfect everything. Everyone was asking me about this wine.
