So fun and versatile - as if Beaujolais and Saint Joseph had a lovechild. Gamay with garrigue.

Plums, violets & cracked black pepper. Fresh, bright and reminiscent of the Northern Rhone. Always want a bottle around.

This is great Gamay for 16 dollars. Well done, Garagiste.

Crispy, red raspberry-rocky fruit. Light tannin structure, all the real structure comes from the the acidity. Not mind blowing, but would be happy drinking this almost everyday. A different (non Beaujolais) expression of Gamay.

Fascinating, clean, fruity more than mineral, Gamay grown in the Coteaux du Lyonnaise and made by Clusel-Roch, a top-notch Cote Rotie producer, I do prefer true Beaujolais and Cote Roannaise Gamay for showing more minerality, but a great “stump your buddies” in a blind tasting wine!!

Spicy and peppery. Could probably use some time but overall very nice.
