2009 Grgich Hills Estate Napa Valley Merlot

Alright, I suppose. It's a Napa Merlot, that's for sure. Fruit-forward with orange, vanilla and marzipan, big tannins, and a biting, bitter finish. Not my thing, perhaps.

2009 vintage Dec 17. Right time. Beautiful fruit still there. Mild eucalyptus bouquet. Better than majority of merlots.
