Great sherry character to this one - hints of caramel coupled with a subtle smokiness. More like a Speyside than a Highland malt to me, but it's terrific!

An excellent - not off-scale, but excellent - highland malt.

Not sure what the 8.9 ratings were about: I think this is pretty damn good. Has a lot more depth that any Glendronach I've ever had - almost strikes me as a hybrid between a Highland and Speyside malt given the fullness on the palate. Has a nice smokiness to it as well. It's no Glenfarclas 40 (best scotch I've ever had), but this is good!
