Rose, menthol, and liquorice on the nose. Dark and brooding in the mouth despite a lithe weight, with firm tannins leading to a tight finish. This needs another 9-12 years, minimum.

Italian menu tonight so wanted a nice Barolo. This Rinaldi hit the spot with its finesse, aromatics & structure showing red fruits, leather, dried tea, rose petal with balsamic notes & tobacco.
