Full-throtal and unapologetic.... The nose is intense, with dark red and black fruit, licorice, coco powder, sweet herbs and exotic spice. On the palate, it displays an explosion of dark ripe fruits with a pulse of zesty acidity, as it travels quickly across the senses, and leaves a bit of heat in the close. The finish shows last notes of blackberry, cherry and licorice with a twang of bitterness on the back palate.

Inky, cherry, blackberry but not “fruity” renditions. More like concentration of the air around them, if that’s possible to understand. Fine tannin. A good wine if/when you get through the Brett.
