Rabajà Barbaresco Nebbiolo
Lovely, but could definitely stand a few more years of aging. Lots of black and sour cherry, menthol and bay leaf, black licorice, a hint of cinnamon, a bit of tar, and some kind of jolly rancher fruit finish at the very end. Typical high acids and grippy tannins I would expect from a young-ish Barbaresco. Needs food! I enjoyed it with meatballs and Parmesan broccolini.

May 28th, 2016Stunning bottle. Quite Burgundian. Tannins are relatively soft. Aromatics are just incredible.

Oct 25th, 2020Delicious Barbaresco, but not stunning. Despite the age, still boldly tannic.

May 5th, 2018Bought this @Barbaresco wine event in autumn 2012, so I waited for 4 years to drink. It's lovely Barbaresco and strong but smooth taste.

Apr 25th, 2016Perfect rich mouth coating tannins . Notes of violet Roses on the nose / rich-dry powerful fruit complexity on the palate eased with a rustic cherry finish on the end. This Cru RABAJA 2007 vintage delivers every aspect one can expect from the Piedmont region of a Barberesco style wine
