Despite the gripe about the hype, this really is a special white that has tons of volcanic character paired with fruit - aromas and flavors of white peach, apricot, passion fruit, smoke, stoniness and salinity, and lemon peel. Rounded texture with medium plus acid, it lingers on the finish with yellow stone fruit and a hint of menthol.

Made from 70% Carricante and 30% of other local grape varieties. It shows yellow flower, ripe stone fruit and a hint of tropical fruit aromas. A bit oily texture but balanced by the fresh acidity. The yeasty and savoury notes indicate lees contact for an extended period, which adds more complexity to the wine. The signature minerality of etna bianco provides the backbone and a pleasant long finish. A wine has the potential for ageing for 10 years+.
