This is a solid every day red, good with chicken, sausage, pasta, cheese, marinara sauce dishes, and the likes. Nose of raspberry (a lot of it), pepper, allspice, and a sweet floral note I can’t quite put my nostrils on. There’s a slick acidity that keeps your mouth salivating and minimal tannin and very lovely fruit juice. It’s medium to light body makes this quite gulp-able. Solid price point too.
