Decanted less than an hour but still strutted its stuff during a sloppy Knicks first playoff win: rose petals, ripe red cherries, autumnal leaves, all folded into an elegant fine tannin & medium bodied, svelte charmer.

So lithe- & so young. Decant the heck of it. Very delicate confluence of Barolo flavors- where is that 14.5%? Lovely roses, tar.

Punches so far above it’s price point it’s absurd. Perceptible oak but elegantly integrated with generous dusty cherry fruit. A barolo that is enjoyable young and pnp. Edit: subtracted 0.2 for the whipping headache afterwards

Not sure what it is about Italian wines, but I have yet to find one I can get excited about. Based on reviews, I thought this Nebbiolo would do the trick. Decent red fruits, a bit leathery. Not for me.
