I am sorry but... why? Why are your tannins sooo hard and unforgivable? Either you extract less, or you lower your yield to handle your ideas. At present, it ain’t working properly.

Traditional style but approachable for a Barolo that is so young.

Is there a 2013 barolo with a broader range of reviews than the wines of Giacomo Fenocchio?? One reviewer says don’t bother, one reviewer says they have decades of amazement yet to come. I certainly look forward to finding out which one is right! The Giacomo Fenocchio 2013 canubbi has an elegant floral quality that is extremely appealing. There is strong spice to go along with the, at this stage, tightly wound fruit. I think there is potential for a big payoff and I look forward to seeing where this one goes over the next decade.

I don't drink a lot of young Barolo, but felt compelled to open one of these for science. Has all of the beautiful notes I love in Barolo - roses, candied red fruit, flower petals and spice - with firm and grippy tannins, a long round finish, and an overall lightness.
