Another solid value Nebbiolo from Vajra. Perfect for pasta night. Some slightly candied cherry fruit makes this accessible, but the backbone is all unoaked Nebbiolo; anise, rose hips, rhubarb. Delicious! (If memory serves, the ‘19 edges out the ‘18).

Always an easy choice for great value on a restaurant wine list.

Medium ruby, lush red fruit on the nose, easy drinker, light on the complexity. Would buy again - great Friday night bottle and would share with friends.

This is the best value buy at HEB. Don’t think about it, just do it.

Nose of sweet cherries, some anise too, on the palate. Quite a tannic backbone but still pretty drinkable. Deep colors too.

Fresh, vibrant, crunchy cherries with a flowery whiff. Young and unapologetic.
Grippy on the palate, with pronounced tannins yet with the fruit nicely filling in. Great juicy acidity, too.
Drinking nicely now (esp. with a ribeye) but will surely benefit from a few years of waiting.
