A gorgeous example of serious Barbera. This wine hits every cylinder. It says "Come here, cuddle up and give me a hug" Dense, ripe, dark fruit. Beautifully balanced. This wine is a stunner.

This is masculine Barbera D'Alba - I'm not a pro, but this bottle confirms heavier style from Alba vs Asti. Smoky Oak is well noticeable in nose and wine bitterness. Balanced fruitiness with earthy leafy, forrest bottom character. Not really tannic nor acidic - but well arranged together with dark fruits, so does not feel jammy, cheap and boring. Very good bottle. Cheers and enjoy the weekend.
