Gorgeous high-toned cherry on the nose with talc-minerality and a light floral note. Palate is medium, balanced and showing some development with leather, americano coffee, nutmeg, and a beautiful palate cleansing effect. Really lovely. Excellent wine.

This wine is drinking beautifully now. Spice, cherries, and black licorice on the nose. Lovely integration on the palate with balanced acidity, very fine tannins, and a silky texture. Red cherries and dry stone minerality round this out. Nicely long finish too.

Dark, clear wine with some orange- and brown-tinged edges. Nose is shy but comes out eventually with sweet cherries, floral, and spice notes. Palate is medium across the board except for the sweet, dusty tannins that are pronounced but well integrated. Cherry, plum, coffee, nutmeg, wet earth, and a bit of leafiness stand out. Finish is medium (+).

A bit light on the nose, this wine has plenty of cherry fruit over sweet spice and fine, medium (+) tannins. Coffee, nutmeg, cinnamon, and leather round this out. Longish finish seems muted. Makes me think that this wine would be very different if there was enough time to let it breathe well. Next bottle will be treated with more respect...

Wow. Long finish on this deep and beautiful wine. Roses, earth, chewy tannins, and something beautifully dusty. Just wow.
