To me, this was a phenomenal representation of Italian wines at their best. Although others didn't necessarily agree I felt that the terroir of this wine was clearly Italian. Was a late entry in the evening though.

Always a delight. Monstrously powerful nice, fruit and leather. On the palate, a bit restrained, we did not have the chance to open it early enough. Still it never disappoints.
