Long time coming but Gaja finally showing in BdM what they’ve been doing for decades in Piemonte. Nose restrained but powerful cherry, cedar. Perfectly articulated but deliberate multi-fronted attack on the palate, sour cherry, cocoa, espresso-laced dark chocolate. Gladly yielded to this as the length and subtle power of this took me through dark chocolate dessert. Built to last. Magnum.
