Feb 5th, 20172013 vintage. Classic Pichler style, offering super-ripe apricots, orange marmalade and marzipan flavors, with spicy minerality and just enough acidity to balance its richness. While concentrated, the alcohol still shines thru on the intense finish.

Apr 23rd, 2015Electric gruner. So vibrant and sharply cutting it's almost rieslingesque, with the gruner character showing not so much in its tone or shape but rather in the whole garden of spring flora blooming around the fruit. So evocative I feel like I need to go on a bender of bullshit tasting note descriptors to do justice to all the outdoorsy freshness here. Hibiscus! Water lillies! Lilacs! I don't know if I have ever smelled these things but I am going with them anyway because they're euphonious enough and the imagery sounds right.
