Ried Obere Schoss Nussberg Riesling

Terrific wine! Tons of character. Nose has monster minerality that almost veers into intense green herbal notes, a bit of a burnt honey note. There’s apple skin too, but it’s competing with a lot of other scents. Uncompromisingly dry in the mouth, with intense minerality and herbal flavors leading, good but not aggressive acids, and a bitter note at the end. Not a skimpy wine.
