Insanely balanced, and firing on all 12 cylinders. High-wire. Freshness with density, and heady perfumed floral aromatics matched with compelling savory, meaty notes from the variety and noble reduction. A pity I can't afford to drink more of this. You could wait more than a few years to bust into this, but crazy good now.

2011v. A blind taster might initially think this is a chard, from the mix of peach, apricot, pineapple, mango, and oaked vanilla on the nose. But the palette reveals a leaner body and distinct minerality. Finish is tropical fruit, that morphs and is complemented by food: from pineapple with a pork roast to honey and peach with a salty chevre (a perfect pairing w/ this wine). Winemaker's website details that this wine has about 18mo in contact with yeast, and is barrel aged 2-4yrs. I typically don't like oaked whites, but the execution of this bottle is fantastic. 13% ABV.
