Balanced of rich aromatics, unctuousness and penetrating minerality. So perfumed. Violet, honeysuckle, peach blossom, ripe apricots/yellow peach, mandarin, asian pear, tropical, crushed granite, cream, sweet herbs, leesy. Very pleasant bitter note. Crazy textural presence

Almond milk and apricots. Unashamedly full and round. All sewn up with lovely acidity and a twist of bitterness. Good length too. Absurdly good value at £35.

Lemony, slightly floral. Hint of vanilla. Long finish. Excellent with baked lobster, paprika, white pepper, garlic powder. Bought from Corks (Rosenthal order).

17.5. 2013. Unmistakable Viognier nose - apricots, honey. Lots of fruit, good acidity, long. Top Condrieu from a lesser name.

Gordon's northern Rhone tasting 9/20/16. On granite and schist soil like others. Great nose and palate again. More age and more balanced. Yum.

If anybody at delectable is listening...
I really enjoy storing photos of labels here and occasionally prefer to comment on a wine. I mean do I get saddle of dressage horse leather or new car smell? These things matter. What I deeply dislike about delectable is I have to score a wine to comment. Scores are occasionally useful but ultimately a limiting way to quantify taste. So many of us here are quick to add our scores. While at the same time deservedly hate on yelp and the inherent limitations of critic 100 point systems. Delectable help people like me.

17+. 2013. Expressive nose, unmistakable Viognier, peaches and honey and... Golden. Legs. Soft but underlying acidity. V long. So much fruit on palate. Gerard will be a star
