Incredible nose of violets and stirred gravel, a dense, rich, mouth coating Barolo.

Yes 2004 is a good vintage yet this wine disappoints. First off cork was brutal to get out and very hard and dry although the wine was stored in perfect conditions. Leathery nose. Very uninspiring and generic taste on day one. Kind of bland and just tart on day two. I will not finish the bottle.
