Very Italianesque. Bright acidity, restrained fruit. One of the better domestic representations of Barbera that I've tried.

This really evolved over the course of the meal (pizza). It was very acid forward to start but gained weight and complexity with air. Mouthwatering acidity, earth, spiciness. Lovely aromatics. Lovely.
