Enjoyable, but not a "go to". Top note when nosing reminiscent of cured meats, then vine. Dry, with cedar/wood, mineral and some sand cherry. Not finding the licorice....

An austere, interesting wine. Nothing ripe or hedonistic here. Strong balsamic note on opening. That fades, leaving a faintly floral nose with a chalky undercurrent. Some bite on the palate - not sweet. Good stuff.
