Ripe cherry, black tea, almost salty. Very integrated and balanced- 2014

Second red wine at Table #3 at Oakton Wine Shops Bucket List Tasting.

Medium ruby core with garnet edges. Dark and tight nose with berries, earthy notes and tobacco. Medium tannins (6/10) and medium plus body. Layers of black cherries, tobacco leaves, cigar box and cassis on the palate. Medium plus finish. Drink till 2025.

Another asleep bottle. Some nice bitterness in the finish, but otherwise, not much flavor.

Aglianico. That is all.

Great fruit, better after decanting.

Dark volcanic fruit, and definitely needs more time. Could use more integration.

Lot of balance here - notes of oak and roast, forward acidity but not acrid, warm, some mineral, fresh oyster, truffle. Very solid.

Great balance with iron tinged dry red fruit blended with notes of damp earth and graphite. Great aging potential.
