Smooth and silky mouth feel with a tad bit of tightness (2011). I aerated the wine for 30 minutes which helped. Black fruits and balanced acidity. Medium+ to almost long finish.

Rich and delicious Malbec with caramel smell med-thick body. Great with the Christmas ham from the Mandarin Oriental

Blackberry liquour and cassis on the tongue. Slight heat on the mid gives way to soft tannins and refreshing acidity that brings a unexpectedly long finish. My favorite Malbec to date.

Many years back, this was my introduction to Argentine Malbec. Inky black fruit, long complex finish with gentle tannins.

2011 vintage. Deep purple hue. There's a serious amount of alcohol coming off the nose, which obscures most of the fruit. Dried black fruits, ripe black cherry, leather tan, smoke and bacon. On the palate, medium acidity, high high alcohol, full body, medium plus concentration and medium plus plush tannins. This has some kick at the finish, again from the alcohol. This wine is not balanced. Not my thing at all.
