Evening Land Vineyards
Seven Springs Vineyard Pinot Noir
Medium ruby color fading to slightly tawny rim. Aromatics are somewhat muted but feature red berries, cola, floral notes, and slightly herbal tang. Light bodied with predominantly tart cranberry fruit on the palate. Would drink now. 13.5% ABV.

Dec 29th, 20182008 vintage. Wow. Popped and poured. Terrific so far. As this opens it’s really great. The nose has developed some must and wet socks - very burgundy like. The mouthful has bright red cranberry fruit and a long pretty finish. No bricking and bright red color. A terrific blend of burgundy and new world Pinot. At its peak? Who knows but this can definitely age further and likely retain its current state. But it’s in a great drinking window today...

Feb 18th, 2018Wow! I've always preferred my favorite California pinots to Willamette valley, but is really good. So herby on the finish, lovely fruit but not overpowering, just really complex and interesting.
