EnRoute was established in the Russian River Valley in 2007 by the partners of Napa Valley’s Far Niente winery and introduced its first wine, “Les Pommiers,” in May 2009, and named for the apple orchards that once flourished in the region. Complex fruit aromas with floral and mineral notes. On the palate cherry and raspberry flavors with tobacco and smoky oak, well structured tannins. Nice mouthfeel, zesty acidity ending with mineral and oak tones. Nice! Tasting Sample.

Big juice - classic Russian River, Sonoma county Pinot Noir - luscious red fruit, spice box and some nice silky tannins. Love this wine! The chard is awesome as well. #enroute #sonoma #russianriver

Very fruit forward, plum and cherry. Already drinking pretty well and has a nice palate feel with decent integration due to generous oak. Delicious to say the least.

From magnum, loads of cola and cherry cordial. Acid and moderate tannins keep it back from the brink of gaudiness.

I took a recommendation based on questions that they asked me. Like do I typically like California vs Oregon wines? (I don't typically like dry - like Oregon). Anyway- this was smooth, fruity, wonderfully paired with veal.

Amazing Berry and Cherry aromas...smooth and medium to big bodied in texture. Vanilla, creamy jam flavors.....mild tannins and a mellow aftertaste. One of the best I've had in this varietal.

A wonderfully perfumed Pinot with new world brightness balanced by old world sensibility. Rounded red fruits shift throughout the palate - red currant to cherry - with a little earth and a bit of spicy licorice! Smooth tannins and good acidity make a nuanced but vibrant wine. It was heartily enjoyed with Cornish game hen with thyme and Herbes de Provence.

Smokey yet delicate Pinot from napa. Delicious by itself, even better with a meal of fish or pork.
