Paired with scallops we brought along to the cabin. This is a Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin blend from South Africa we had cellared for the last few years. The nose was a bit shy with herbaceous hints but the palate was a wonderful mix of Chenin like quince and honey along with some of the gooseberry typically found in SB. Delicious.
