Very impressed with this straight Mataro from 60 year old vines in McLaren Vale. Notes of plum and raspberry, some sour cherry on palate. Great drive and length. Fine tannins. Simply lovely wine with a good future. This is the 2009 vintage. Next in 3 to 5 years. Must buy recent vintages. 18+.
