18%. That's the alcohol of this Zin. Surprisingly you would never guess it. I actually contacted the winemaker to ask about this wine and they told me that they let the grapes express themselves and this is how the alcohol reached these levels. Jammy red berries with a touch or raisin, hot earth also on the palette. Again, not a big Zin guy but this is enjoyable (and definitely a Paso wine), a nice oaky finish and almost a touch Porty.
