Amazing brooding nose. Forest floor, leather, and black fruit notes. Lovely round and sweet palate - again forest floor, berries, leather, coffee. Not as open and expressive as the straight BdeM - needs more time to unfurl. +2 or 3 pts in 10 yrs.

Took a bit to open up, but layer after layer once it did. Deep, black fruit, spice and tobacco. Exceptional wine.
