Rich and dry. Very plummy. A little bit of a strange aftertaste.

Dark ruby hue with medium saturation. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, fig, mushroom, plum, raspberry, sage, and savory. Full body, firm and heavy tannins, and medium-high acidity. Complex and balanced. Incredible QPR.

Yes dark color. Almost “Black”. Aroma is fruity with a hint of minty teas and redwood wood shavings. Flavor is balanced and brooding. Licorice and cherry cola. Dry but fruit-ilicious. Deep and sorta dramatic. But it’s got old world charm to go with it’s new world pedigree. The three varietals mix together very well.

An interesting blend from Argentina. Although mostly Malbec and Cab, this wine reminds me of central coast California. My instant thought thought is of a Paso Syrah that’s had some time in the bottle, although Zin also comes to mind. Lots of raisin, rich black and red fruits, and soft oak influence (vanilla!). An interesting Argentinian blend...if you’re looking for something from California.

Sweet chocolate notes hits you initially but once it opens up more fruity notes come to the surface.

Light fruit and acidity. Worked well with pan seared NY strip steak.
