Inky in color with a purplish rim.
Medium intensity on the nose with blackberries, figs, metals, strawberries, tart cherries, vanilla, cloves, licorice and black pepper.
Full bodied with nice legs.
Dry, Fruity and harsh on the palate with blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, plums, black currants, cherries, oak, dirt and peppercorn.
On the finish, more of the secondary flavors of oak and cloves with full tannings, black pepper and sour cherries.
A little unbalanced yet still nice by itself or with grilled meats.
