Wow what a good wine, just had to try again!! A blend of 86% Tinta del País/Tempranillo (from old vineyards), 12% Garnacha and 2% other grapes, including whites. Medium Ruby with aromas of ripe fresh fruits, herb and complex spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and strawberry with vanilla oak and cacao. Good balance, fine elegant tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit and earthy character. Very nice! I grabbed a few bottles to see how this ages, check back!!

Intense sundrenched dark berried fruit with a lovely fresh energy, blackberries, blueberries, cassis. dark cherries and peppermint. Very integrated oak profile with a gentle touch of vanilla and sweet tobacco followed by a underlying stony minerality.
Dry palate with a medium + acidity, high tannins with a fine grained qualititave texture, well integrated alcohol in a full body that is balanced by a fresh acidity. Nuanced palate with a good complexity and characters of ripe dark berried fruit, vanilla and sweet licorice that evolves through a solid lenght that falls a bit short from the major league.

Wish I had more time to take tasting notes but wanted to at least get something down. Beautiful big bouquet of blackberry. More blackberry on the palate with strong acidity but not overbearing and paired nicely with the high tannin. Complex slightly sweet notes like maybe herbs or vanilla. I could really taste the oak but I didn't mind it in this case, wine just screamed quality.
